HORIZONTAL FALLING TOWARDS FLYING

AFTERNOON WORKSHOPS FROM JUNE 23TH -25TH

“I keep my eyes open, to see, not to look. In this way, the information acts on my body as a support, generating a sensitive response, not mental or emotional. Tuning in with the whole from my perception, in my immediate present, forming part of and encountering nature until disappearing in it.» R.R.

Physical Dialogue (16:00-18:30; Friday 06/23/23)

By paying attention to our perceptual system we can create a spacious and habitable present space where we can perform our dances. A wide area where to establish links, tune in to the rhythms of others and enter into harmony with our environment.

When we analyze the changes and dynamics of the weight, and give them specific qualities, it allows us to observe the alternation and rhythms that they generate.

We are going to move between inertia and direction, pressure and support, content and container, center and structure, to define certain roles and create the musicality of each dance…

Labing in Trios ( 17:00-19:30 Saturday 06/24/23)

It proposes to explore the different forms of connection: physical, temporal and spatial; From the clarity in our own movement, we will work both the interaction with the other in the duo, as well as the dynamics of the relay in the trios. We are going to use the figure of the third as a pivot of our actions, providing perspective and presence to our dance and at the same time we will see ourselves moving from the periphery to the center of the action without the need to take more prominence.
